The fashion trends presented on the international catwalks can be described best as “anything goes”. It seems that designers do not really agree on creating one specific trend. Yet we see a common feature, as many designers seize back to nature by using natural colours and fabrics such as cotton and silk. Some designers apply colours in the accessories (e.g. belts, shoes). They also use animal prints (tiger and/or leopard) and bold colours, often with an ethnic character.
For Oriental Heritage, the 2011 Summer make-up collection, Make-up Studio was inspired by the Tale from 1001 Nights.
The photo shoot took place in Marrakech, a city with intense colour, flavour and character. Oriental Heritage from Make-up Studio presents colours that are based on the diversity of colours that can be found at the Grand Bazaar in Marrakech, combined with the aromas of the city.
The Fluid Liner Sparkling Purple defines the eye make-up. This new liquid eyeliner can be used in different ways and is easy to apply. The beautiful deep purple colour has a little sparkle.
The Eyeshadow Lumière Duo Fata Morgana consists of two beautiful summer colours. The warm copper and cool turquoise make an exciting combination. The copper shade is used on the moving part of the eyelid and the turquoise shade as a highlight under the eyebrow and in the corners of the eye.
A golden blush like the Blusher Lumière Golden Fortune from the collection perfectly suits this summer look. For the lips Make-up Studio selected the Lipgloss Supershine in two shades: a subtle pink colour for a natural day look and a warm, light brown colour for the evening.
